Mind, Brain, and Education – Wiley Online Library

The Mind, Brain, and Education (MBE) journal website is an excellent source for peer-reviewed articles addressing the cognitive and behavioral questions impacting learning and development.  Its objective is to be a credible resource for scientifically sound research spanning and connecting mind, brain, and education, across all ages and specifically to the special needs community.  MBE is part of the International Mind, Brain, and Education Society (IMBES) which facilitates collaborative efforts, knowledge, and resources impacting educational efforts across the globe.

The journal is set up for open submission of articles and is reviewed by an editorial board of highly recognized scholars and practitioners from multiple disciplines.  The journal speaks to those practicing in the biological, cognitive, behavioral sciences, education & special education, genetics, and neuroscience fields.

The cost of the articles depends on the level of access needed.  There are three levels; the lowest price is the 48-hour access, then the online access only, up to the PDF download and online access.  However, there are open-access articles that are free of charge.  There is an option to subscribe and set up alerts when new information is added to the library.  For more information, visit Mind, Brain, and Education - Wiley Online Library.

Welcome!

My name is Marie Dillard. This is my first blogging experience, and I am very excited to share it with you. I am an aspiring instructional designer pivoting from a career in clinical research. There is a lot of information on instructional design, and I am discovering it can be overwhelming. Creating a blog (even as part of a course assignment) is a great starting point as I have already found sites I know will benefit me and hopefully you. Enjoy!
